“Loli”
[edit]Don’t tag innocent images of anime girls as “loli” or “lolicon”— it’s both offensive and doesn’t reflect terribly well on the tagger. Dronebogus (talk) 10:31, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
- There should probably be a clarification whether or not the category is supposed to be SFW or not Trade (talk) 16:52, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
- The term “lolicon” is understood to mean “sexualized depictions of prepubescent to early-pubescent girls in anime and manga”, and is exclusively used that way on WMC; “loli” has more ambiguous connotations but nonsexual use of the term is informal, vague, and easy to misinterpret. Dronebogus (talk) 05:44, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
- So where do we categorize the second? Trade (talk) 13:00, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
- We don’t. It’s a vague term that carries negative baggage. The closest thing is Category:Girls in anime and manga, where most of these images should already be if they’re not in subcategories (i.e. Category:Wiki-sisters) Dronebogus (talk) 13:58, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
- Given one of the images literally have the title of the category in it's file name it's hard to argue that the categorization was wrong--Trade (talk) 14:00, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
- But it isn’t lolicon, per title Dronebogus (talk) 14:11, 16 May 2024 (UTC)

Human lips
[edit]I have reverted your edits to File:ColognePride 2014 - Straßenparade-2796.jpg and other. Tagging "human lips" on an image which shows (walking) people is useless. Every image on Commons which shows a person could be tagged this way. Millions. This does not make sense. Raymond (talk) 14:14, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
- Or lipstick. This image does not show a lipstick. mayeb red lips but this is not the main topic of the image. It is really irrelevant. Raymond (talk) 14:17, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
